A judge has ruled that the New York Attorney General cannot dissolve the National Rifle Association.
The attorney general was attempting to dissolve the group in relation to a corruption case against the gun rights group.
The judge ruled that the relief is too severe and the harm, specifically private harm, committed by the NRA can be remedied with less intense relief.

The NRA is not out of the woods yet. The judge did allow other claims against the e NRA and individual defendants to move forward.
