Trump Hit With New Charges in Documents Case

Former President Donald Trump has been hit with new charges in the classified documents case.

A third defendant was also added in the move by the Department of Justice, CNBC Reports.

Per CNBC:

Former President Donald Trump was hit Thursday night with four new criminal charges in addition to the ones he already faced related to his retaining classified documents at his Florida residence after leaving the White House.

Also, a third defendant was added to the case against Trump and his valet, Walt Nauta, as part of the superseding indictment in U.S. District Court for the Sourthern District of Florida.

Trump spokesman Steven Cheung in a statement Thursday evening about Deoliveira being added to the case, said, “This is nothing more than a continued desperate and flailing attempt by the Biden Crime Family and their Department of Justice to harass President Trump and those around him.”

“Deranged Jack Smith knows that they have no case and is casting about for any way to salvage their illegal witch hunt and to get someone other than Donald Trump to run against Crooked Joe Biden,” Cheung said.

Trump has plead not guilty to the original charges in the case. This story is breaking, continue to check back for updates.
