The Fulton County, Georgia, district attorney’s investigation into former President Donald Trump and his allies’ attempts to rig the 2020 presidential election was summarized in a special grand jury report that was made public on Friday.
More than 30 people, including 21 persons who weren’t accused last month, were also reportedly to be indicted, according to the report’s recommendations. Former Georgia senators David Perdue, Kelly Loeffler, and Michael Flynn, as well as current Georgia Senator Lindsey Graham, were among those who the panel recommended for indictment but who were not eventually indicted.
The report’s public publication was mandated last week by Judge Robert McBurney, who presided over the special purpose grand jury.
The district attorney determines whether to submit the special purpose grand jury’s findings to a grand jury for criminal charges after receiving them instead of issuing indictments like a conventional grand jury would.
