Jim Jordan Backs Out of Third Speaker Vote, Backs Plan to Empower McHenry

In a stunning turn of events, Rep. Jim Jordan has is now reportedly planning on suspending the planned third vote on his speakership and instead will be a compromise with Dems to empower Rep. Patrick McHenry to serve as temporary speaker.

NEWS — JIM JORDAN will not hold a third ballot for speaker. He will back PATRICK MCHENRY as an interim speaker until JANUARY.
