REPORT: Wife and Child of Man Accused of Terror Attack in Boulder to be Deported

The wife and daughter of the man accused of firebombing a pro-Israel event in Boulder Colorado have now reportedly been slated for deportation.

The announcement was made by the Trump White House’s official Twitter account.

Mohamed Sabry Soliman, a 45-year-old Egyptian national, faces multiple charges including attempted first-degree murder and the use of incendiary devices.

Sources within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) confirmed that Soliman’s wife and five children were apprehended as part of the ongoing investigation.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem stated in a video post that authorities are examining whether the family had prior knowledge of Soliman’s actions and whether they provided any support for the attack.

The incident, which occurred on June 1, involved Soliman allegedly throwing a glass bottle filled with an incendiary substance into a crowd of pro-Israel demonstrators, resulting in injuries to twelve individuals. Fortunately, none of the victims suffered life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses reported seeing the bottle burst into flames upon impact, creating chaos at the peaceful gathering.

Soliman entered the United States on August 27, 2022, with a non-immigrant visa, which allowed him to stay until February 2, 2023.

However, he overstayed his visa and subsequently applied for work authorization, which was granted in March 2023. His immigration status is now under scrutiny, particularly given the nature of his alleged crime.

The charges against Soliman are extensive. He is facing sixteen counts of attempted first-degree murder, eight of which are based on intent and deliberation, while the other eight relate to extreme indifference.

If convicted, he could face a maximum sentence of 384 years in state prison. Additionally, he is charged with the use of incendiary devices, which could add another 48 years if served consecutively.
