Following a ban on CNN, MS Now, and Politico, the three networks have filed a lawsuit against President Trump.
Along with the lawsuit, major networks tasked with providing footage of Presidential events is declining to do their jobs.
Fox News is one of these major networks taking a stand against Trump.
According to Politico:
The nation’s major television networks are declining to participate in White House pool duties moving forward in response to the Trump administration’s decision to bar CNN, MS NOW and POLITICO from the White House, Fox News Washington Bureau Chief Bryan Boughton wrote in an email to TV pool subscribers.
“This is to advise that, effective today, the TV pool will not be covering events designated as pool coverage of the President,” Boughton wrote in the email, obtained by POLITICO. “This follows the White House’s position preventing CNN from fulfilling its assigned pool duties. There will be no replacement pool put in place.”

The move could make it more difficult for images and video of President Donald Trump’s activities at the United Nations General Assembly this week to get to the American public. The television pool provides video from events where space constraints prevent every outlet from sending its own camera crew, with footage then made available broadly to news organizations.
CNN was scheduled to serve as the television pool Monday. But a White House “daily guidance” email sent to reporters Sunday night listed no TV pool — which consists of the five major networks, ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC and Fox News — at all.
The networks who were banned also filed a lawsuit, Politico reports:
Three news organizations whose journalists were banned from the White House last week are suing President Donald Trump and three top advisers, calling the abrupt lockout a “direct assault on the First Amendment.”
POLITICO, CNN and MS NOW said in a joint statement Monday that they are bringing the federal lawsuit in a bid to immediately restore access for their reporters, who were denied entry to the White House complex on Saturday and had their credentials confiscated by the Secret Service.
“This morning, we notified the government that we are filing a lawsuit today to protect our First Amendment rights and defend the principle that the government does not decide what the press reports or publishes,” the news organizations said. “Without notice or process, the White House revoked our journalists’ credentials because it objected to our reporting. Left unchallenged, this threatens press freedom and the public’s right to independent journalism free from government interference.”
The organizations are asking a judge on the U.S. District Court in Washington to quickly rule Trump’s ban unconstitutional and prevent his aides from enforcing it.
In response the White House listed Hearst and Real America’s Voice as the TV providers for the pool today.
Fox News has decided to take a stand against Trump on First Amendment grounds.
